How to Connect HubSpot CRM to Lytical

Connect your HubSpot CRM to Lytical to see which marketing channels drive your closed revenue. This integration matches your HubSpot contacts to website visitors, giving you full-funnel attribution from first touch to closed deal.

Requirements: HubSpot integration is available on Lyte and Pro plans. You'll need admin access to your HubSpot account to authorize the connection.

Step 1: Navigate to Integrations

  1. Log in to your Lytical account at app.lytical.ai
  2. Select the site you want to connect
  3. Click Settings in the sidebar
  4. Click Integrations
  5. Find HubSpot CRM and click Connect

Step 2: Authorize HubSpot

  1. You'll be redirected to HubSpot's authorization page
  2. Select the HubSpot account you want to connect
  3. Review the permissions (Lytical requests read-only access)
  4. Click Connect app
  5. You'll be redirected back to Lytical

Privacy Note: Lytical only requests read-only access. We never modify, create, or delete any data in your HubSpot account.

Step 3: Sync Your Data

  1. After connecting, click Sync Now to import your HubSpot data
  2. Initial sync typically takes 1-2 minutes (longer for large datasets)
  3. You'll see a progress indicator while syncing
  4. Once complete, you'll see your deal count and pipeline summary

Step 4: Enable Auto-Sync (Optional)

Toggle on Auto-sync to keep your data up to date automatically. When enabled, Lytical will sync your HubSpot data daily.

What Data Is Synced?

Lytical imports the following data from HubSpot:

How Attribution Works

Lytical matches HubSpot contacts to website visitors using email addresses:

  1. When a visitor identifies themselves on your site (form submission, login, etc.), Lytical captures their email
  2. Lytical also tracks their traffic source (Google, LinkedIn, email campaign, etc.)
  3. When HubSpot data syncs, we match contacts by email
  4. Deals associated with matched contacts inherit the traffic attribution

This lets you see insights like: "This $50,000 deal originated from a LinkedIn ad campaign" or "Organic search drove 40% of closed revenue this quarter."

Using Quincy with HubSpot Data

Once connected, you can ask Quincy (Lytical's AI assistant) questions about your CRM data:

  • "Show me deals closed this month"
  • "Which marketing channels drove the most revenue?"
  • "How many MQLs did we get this week?"
  • "What does our pipeline look like?"
  • "What deals came from organic traffic?"

Disconnecting HubSpot

To disconnect your HubSpot account:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → HubSpot CRM
  2. Click Disconnect
  3. Confirm the disconnection

Disconnecting will stop syncing new data. You can also request deletion of all synced HubSpot data by contacting support.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Lytical modify my HubSpot data?

No. Lytical only has read-only access. We never create, update, or delete any records in HubSpot.

How often does data sync?

With auto-sync enabled, data syncs daily. You can also trigger a manual sync anytime from the integration settings.

Why aren't all my deals showing attribution?

Attribution requires a contact email match. If a deal's associated contact hasn't been identified on your website (via form submission, login, etc.), we can't attribute it to a traffic source.

Which HubSpot plans are supported?

The integration works with all HubSpot CRM plans, including the free CRM.

Is my data secure?

Yes. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored securely. We comply with GDPR deletion requests and handle HubSpot webhooks for contact/deal/company deletions.
